Sourcing Repository distinguishes unclaimed directory entries from claimed and verified manufacturer profiles. This page explains our review tiers, process, and the honest limits of a verified badge (VER-002).
Public profiles use one of three trust states. We do not display fabricated tier numbers or demo badges — only live status from the platform.

Automated duplicate and risk checks run first. Human reviewers compare submitted data against evidence using platform checklists.
Approved profiles receive verified status. Changes requested or rejected outcomes include reviewer notes and next steps.

Submitted documents are stored with access controls appropriate to verification review — not published on the open web by default.
