1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or utilizing the Sourcing Repository platform, including all associated subdomains, APIs, and integrated manufacturing services, you (the "User") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the User and the operator of Sourcing Repository.
The Platform is designed exclusively for professional B2B automotive manufacturing operations. By registering an account, you represent that you have the legal authority to bind your organization to these terms.
Users must maintain active ISO 9001:2015 certification to participate in the "Verified Supplier" tier of this marketplace. Failure to maintain credentials results in immediate account downgrading.
2. Compliance & Regulatory Standards
Usage of this platform requires strict adherence to global manufacturing standards and export control regulations, including but not limited to:
- ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance for specified components.
- EAR (Export Administration Regulations) for dual-use industrial technologies.
- GDPR and local data residency requirements for CAD data storage.
- Verification of applicable automotive quality standards (e.g. IATF 16949) for supplier participation.
Sourcing Repository reserves the right to audit technical logs and organization documentation to ensure ecosystem integrity.
3. Intellectual Property & CAD Protection
Sourcing Repository employs strong encryption for design files uploaded to the platform. Ownership of Intellectual Property (IP) remains with the originating entity unless explicitly transferred via a platform-facilitated Contract of Sale.
However, the User grants Sourcing Repository a limited, non-exclusive license to process, render, and analyze geometric data for the sole purpose of generating manufacturing quotes and identifying production incompatibilities.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sourcing Repository shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, or manufacturing uptime resulting from:
System Latency
Delays in real-time bidding or auction finalization.
Tolerances
Discrepancies in sub-micron precision reporting by suppliers.
