1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets rules for using Sourcing Repository so the marketplace remains a trusted B2B environment for automotive-component sourcing.
Accounts and content must relate to legitimate industrial procurement or manufacturing operations. Consumer retail, spam lead-gen, and deceptive listings are not permitted.
2. Prohibited Activities
- Scraping, bulk harvesting, or republishing private RFQ, NDA, or contact data.
- Uploading malware, attempting to bypass access controls, or abusing APIs/rate limits.
- Impersonating another organization, forging certifications, or misrepresenting verification status.
- Posting export-controlled technical data without required authorizations.
- Harassment, fraud, or solicitation unrelated to manufacturing sourcing.
3. Content Rules
Public profile and taxonomy content must be accurate, non-infringing, and free of private personal data that should not be published. AI-assisted drafts require human approval before publication.
Public RFQ previews must remain privacy-scrubbed. Full drawings and commercial terms stay behind authentication and NDA controls.
4. Enforcement
We may suspend accounts, remove content, revoke verification badges, or involve authorities when this AUP or applicable law is violated. Repeated or severe violations may result in permanent exclusion from the Platform.
